    This case study examines the Hyperion Energy Community, a non-profit in Greece that is a pioneer in community-led solar energy initiatives. It explores how the community addresses challenges and promotes energy security, affordability, and sustainability for its members.

  • The Collective Energy Coop Story

    This case study examines Collective Energy Coop (COEN), a citizen-led cooperative in Athens established in 2020 to drive a sustainable energy transition. It details the "Paraspori" photovoltaic project, which uses virtual net metering to provide clean energy and financial savings to its 47 members and two vulnerable households. COEN's model, rooted in democratic governance, showcases a replicable way for communities to navigate Greece's evolving energy sector.
