We’re aiming to enable everyone (including kids!) to partake in the digitalisation of energy and learn more about the topic so to reach this ambitious goal and make it even more fun we designed the “Peak and off-peak peacock” board game.
The Every1 team recently introduced “Peak and off-peak peacock” to a cheerful group of schoolchildren in Matosinhos, Portugal, who learned a lot about electricity - they are a bunch of smart peacocks!

On the Peafowl Planet renewable energy is the to-go option for saving our precious money (peak-coins). Such a pity renewable energy isn’t available here every day. Luckily, the planet’s advanced technology allows us to see the weather forecast in advance. This way we can plan accordingly! We are a bunch of smart peacocks, you know.
- Setup: 2-4 players.
- For all ages but prepared with special attention to players 6-14 years old.
- Time: approximately 30-50 minutes.
“Peak and off-peak peacock” is part of Every1’s suite of learning materials, which include online courses, videos, case studies and games. These learning materials will soon become available in an accessible, easy-to-use online format and downloadable in different formats. The Every1 project is also developing accompanying offline versions of the courses.
