From 18–20 November, the Every1 project was at the heart of the energy conversation at Enlit Europe 2025 in Bilbao, Spain.
Hosted at the Belgian Pavilion, our stand was buzzing with energy as our coordinators Flux50, alongside partners from Steinbeis Europa Zentrum and RdA Climate Solutions, joined the ranks of European frontrunners in smart energy. For three days, we strengthened ties, explored new opportunities, and brought the mission of Every1 (inclusive participation in the digital energy transition) to a global audience.

Over the course of the event, we:
Launched a targeted matchmaking survey designed to identify the needs of solution seekers and providers in the digital energy ecosystem.
Spread the word to citizens, cities, energy communities, and companies about the importance of active participation in the transition.
Took the stage at the Belgian Pavilion’s "Pitch 'n Beer" session, where we shared our latest achievements and future roadmap.
One of our key objectives at Enlit was to understand the current landscape of stakeholders (who is looking for solutions, and who is offering them). We conducted a matchmaking survey on the floor to collect data from relevant stakeholders. The results provided a snapshot of the current market dynamic:
A Supply-Rich Environment: Our analysis showed that 78% of respondents were “Solution Providers” or companies offering services. This highlights a critical role for Every1: the technology is ready, but there is a pressing need to bridge the gap between these innovators and the "demand side", such as the DSO, cities, municipalities, and citizens who need these solutions.
Top Priorities: When asked about their primary interests, the clear winner was Smart Solutions, followed closely by Energy Flexibility, Digitalisation & AI, and Energy Democracy.
The Takeaway: The industry, and in particular at Enlit, is heavily focused on smart, flexible tech. Every1’s mission is now more relevant than ever, ensuring these high-tech solutions are accessible, understandable, and usable for the people and communities they are meant to serve.
Enlit is more than just a trade fair; it is a barometer for the energy sector. For Every1, being here was essential to engage directly with market enablers. The strong presence of solution providers at the event confirmed that the "hardware" of the transition is being built. Our project’s value lies in providing the "software", the capacity building, knowledge sharing, and ecosystem mapping that ensures these tools are actually understood and adopted by society.
The connections made in Bilbao are already bearing fruit. We are processing the full results of our matchmaking efforts to refine our ecosystem map, ensuring that when we talk about a "Digital Energy Transition," we are including everyone.
Stay tuned for more updates as we turn these conversations into action!
