“I had the pleasure of presenting and participating in a discussion panel about energy digitalisation at the Enertech Sabugal fair”, states Every1 project partner Ricardo Silva from RdA in Portugal. The fair took place on October 13th in Sabugal, Portugal and was a great opportunity to learn about the latest technologies and innovations for energy efficiency, renewable energy, and sustainability. It was also a great opportunity to present our Horizon project Every1: Enable eVeryone's Engagement in the eneRgY transitiON. Within our work in this project, we are currently focussing on identifying knowledge gaps and preparing training materials to increase everyone's accessibility to energy digitalisation in Europe.

The discussion panel at the Enertech was organised by Apemeta - Associação Portuguesa de Empresas de Tecnologias Ambientais and was moderated by Jorge Rodrigues de Almeida, the managing director of Every1 project partner RdA Climate Solutions. The panel included experts from industry as well as public administration. Views on the challenges and opportunities of digitalisation for the energy sector were exchanged, such as how to integrate renewables into electricity systems, improve the reliability of power grids, reduce the cost of access to electricity, and ensure data privacy and accessibility.

The Enertech 2023 fair was organised by the Municipality of Sabugal and provided an excellent opportunity for creating a space for dialogue and collaboration between different stakeholders within the energy field and also to share valuable insights and interact with the audience.
